Mastercard Strengthens its presence in Poland with new Professional Services Hubs in Warsaw and Gdansk
November 7, 2025 – Warsaw, Poland – As Mastercard celebrates 30 years of operations in Poland and continues its efforts to support Europe’s resilience, security, governance, and competitiveness, the company today announced the expansion of its presence in Poland with the development of Professional Services Hubs in Warsaw and Gdansk. This move reinforces Poland’s role in driving innovation and digital transformation in Europe.
Expanding Mastercard’s Professional Services Hub
The expansion of Mastercard Hubs in Warsaw and Gdańsk is part of the company’s global strategy to build centres of excellence that support the digital transformation of the financial sector. Poland was selected as a location in the heart of Europe thanks to its strong regional position, robust regulatory environment, and access to highly qualified professionals.
The Warsaw Professional Services Hub currently employs highly skilled specialists and plans to double its workforce to more than 200 professionals by 2028. These teams bring together experts in areas such as data science, digital product development, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and strategic consulting.
The Gdańsk Technology Hub focuses on Open Finance, services, and data-driven innovation and will employ 100 professionals by 2028. Building on Mastercard’s 2021 acquisition of Danish company Aiia, the Gdańsk team develops solutions that enable secure and scalable sharing of permissioned financial data through a single API. Experts in data engineering and product management will collaborate to support the digital transformation of the financial sector.
