Newly formed position to help establish and grow data center platform and team in Japan

In this role, Mr. Inoue will provide inspired local leadership and play a pivotal role in developing the strategic growth of EdgeConneX in the Asia-Pacific region. His responsibilities will include implementing the Japanese market development strategy, which encompasses real estate and power acquisition, and potential joint venture partnerships.

Mr. Inoue brings extensive experience in investment, development, financing, and asset management in renewable and infrastructure projects. His proven track record of maximizing productivity and improving bottom-line results makes him an invaluable addition to the EdgeConneX team. With a bachelor’s degree in law from Seikei University in Tokyo, Japan, a strong background in international business, and a deep understanding of cross-cultural environments, Mr. Inoue is well-positioned to lead the local team to new heights.

Mr. Inoue previously served as Managing and Project Director at Aquila Clean Energy Japan, where he successfully formed Aquila Clean Energy Japan K.K., managed business activities, and created a substantial project pipeline. His role as Development Director at Macquarie Capital Securities (Japan) Limited further solidified his project development and strategic planning expertise.
