Synthesia Surpasses $100M ARR, Secures Strategic Investment from Adobe Ventures

News – LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, April 15, 2025 –  Synthesia, the global AI video platform for enterprises, today announced it has reached over $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and received a strategic investment from Adobe Ventures.

Synthesia’s surpassing of the $100 million ARR milestone solidifies its status as a global leader in the generative AI space, making it one of the few AI-native companies to commercialize this technology at scale successfully. This achievement comes as a result of three growth drivers:

  • Expansion and increased utilization from existing customers: Synthesia’s customers have significantly expanded their use of AI video beyond traditional training and internal communications-type use cases. As a result, thousands of organizations on Synthesia’s Enterprise plan use the platform on a daily basis to create content for product marketing, customer support or sales enablement.
  • Acquisition of new customers across all pricing plans: Organizations across the board are recognizing the advantages of communicating in a multi-modal world and therefore are adopting Synthesia’s solutions for both internal communications and external outreach. Since launching the new version of its platform last year, Synthesia has consistently delivered value for large businesses on Enterprise plans, and created increasing demand among small and medium-sized businesses through accessible Starter and Creator plans. Today, more than 70% of the Fortune 100 are Synthesia customers, up from 40% two years ago.
  • Continuous platform innovation with enterprise-grade security: Synthesia’s advanced products and features, including assisted creation tools, AI-powered localization, live collaboration, and the AI screen recorder, combine to form end-to-end solutions that address complex business needs and come with enterprise-grade security baked in. The company operates at the application layer but also has a research and development team developing the world’s best models for audio and video generation; therefore, it is able to quickly navigate the path from technological breakthroughs to product deployment and customer adoption at a pace unmatched by its direct competitors while still leading the industry in AI safety and security.

“We are incredibly proud to announce these milestones,” said Victor Riparbelli, CEO and co-founder of Synthesia. “Reaching $100 million in ARR underscores the significant value and impact our AI video platform and solutions bring to enterprises and the shared determination of our team to build a generational software business. The Adobe Ventures investment represents a powerful endorsement of our vision for enterprise-grade video communications, enabling us to deliver even greater innovation and customer value.”

Secretary of State for Science, Innovation, and Technology, Peter Kyle said: “It’s great to see a yet another British tech company attracting international investment – and that’s in part because we’re creating the environment where home-grown companies and innovators can flourish and do what they do best.

“Synthesia are living proof of how that approach is working. Through this investment and with their annual revenue stream now topping more than $100 million, Synthesia represent a prime example of a British AI company becoming a global success story.’’

Synthesia’s rapid revenue acceleration over the last 12 months, combined with a successful Series D funding round in January 2025, is further proof of the company’s customer obsession and drive to make generative AI work for the enterprise. With a strong leadership team in place, including new CFO Daniel Kim who joined in February 2025, Synthesia continues to be the default choice for organizations worldwide looking to improve how they reach their audiences, internally and externally.
