Former Swiss Ambassador Bernardino Regazzoni appointed President of the Board of DiploFoundation

DiploFoundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Ambassador Bernardino Regazzoni as the new President of its Board. With a distinguished career in Swiss diplomacy,  Ambassador Regazzoni brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to global cooperation and education.

Ambassador Regazzoni was born in Lugano in 1957. He holds a doctorate in philosophy and has had an illustrious career in the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), which he joined in 1988. He was the Swiss ambassador to Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Italy, France, and China.

Ambassador Regazzoni’s leadership is expected to enhance DiploFoundation’s capacity development and policy research efforts, particularly in digital diplomacy and AI governance.
