Designed to support independent advisory firms, BridgePort offers customized solutions to drive long-term growth and longevity
FAIRFIELD, Iowa–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Cambridge, a leading financial solutions firm serving over 3,800 financial professionals across the country, is pleased to introduce BridgePort Financial Solutions (“BridgePort”), a fee-only registered investment advisor (RIA) firm. BridgePort is designed to support smaller independent advisory firms with a range of technology, succession and acquisition, practice management, business consulting, and outsourcing solutions. The purpose of BridgePort is to drive long-term growth and longevity through increased stability, scale, and a holistic advisor workstation.

“We understand the unique challenges faced by smaller advisory firms in today’s rapidly evolving financial services landscape,” said Cambridge President of Growth and Development, Jeff Vivacqua. “We created BridgePort with the smaller RIA business owner in mind; for many firms that fall into this category, it may make sense to streamline operations and accelerate their growth pattern by becoming part of a larger group. That is why we created this standalone firm, it is a different business model than Cambridge. BridgePort is our newest solution for fee-only financial advisors interested in taking that next step.”
With over $1 billion in AUA, BridgePort will focus on strategic acquisitions and comprehensive support which connects financial advisors with proven solutions to accelerate all areas of their business while providing the flexibility of choice needed to best serve their clients. Among many options available, advisors can transfer a minority, majority, or full ownership stake in their business; adopt BridgePort branding or have the ability to maintain their established branding; and can work with BridgePort teams to create customized continuity and succession plans.
Eddie Rollins, a former partner at Horizon Investments LLC, who helped lead that firm’s distribution efforts over the last 14 years, joined BridgePort as its Managing Director. Leaning on his more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, Rollins will be responsible for driving the direction, planning, growth, and overall development of BridgePort and its various services. Rollins will also join Cambridge’s existing nine-member Executive Council.
